The 21st Annual SAG Awards Nominations & Predictions

IMG_3278

The Road to the Oscars is officially underway with the SAG Awards nominations coming out today. The SAG Awards tend to be an early indication of what the Academy Awards will look like by the time nominations roll around in January. The SAG Awards also honor actors and actresses in Television. The nominees are chosen by 4100 members from SAG-AFTRA, where 2100 nominate for excellence in Film while the other half nominates for excellence in Television. This years nominations offered some big surprises (The Lead Actress in a Drama Series category included 6 Actresses this year, the only category to include one more than the usual 5 in each category) and left us unhappy at some of the actors/actresses who were left out. The Ceremony will be held on Sunday January 25th at 8ET/5PT on both TNT and TBS.
